Wearing the change in India

What if your clothing was more than just a simple garment?

What if your clothing was a story – a story about the individuals that make it – and one that let's you decide how to make their community a better place?

That's what The Fabric of Humanity is about. It's philanthropy woven into clothing.

This story starts with providing job opportunities for survivors of abuse and exploitation as well as individuals who have experienced discrimination. Our Indian products are ethical apparel that were made in a fair trade-certified setting by Mehera Shaw, a manufacturer whose garment workers are more than a team – they are family. Here is their story.

You also get to be an key player in this story in-the-making. The prices of our ethical fair trade clothing include a donation for you to make an impact in the lives of those living right where your garment comes from. You get to pick the project you'd like to see.

In Nepal, you can direct your contribution to causes like providing bicycles so that girls can go to school, funding water wells for families in the Rajasthani desert or empowering women to take economic control of their lives. It's up to you!

And then, you get to experience the change that you enable. We'll send you updates and pictures as our projects get implemented so that you can experience the change that you make possible.

Sounds great? It is! And it's as easy as 1-2-3.
